YOU’VE GOT QUESTIONS.

WE’VE GOT ANSWERS.

  • No. You do not need to be fit to begin. That is why you come. At Bear Canyon CrossFit, every workout can be modified to match your current fitness level, experience, and comfort.

  • Yes, very normal. Most people feel nervous before their first class. Trying something new can feel intimidating, but our goal is to make you feel supported, encouraged, and comfortable from day one.

  • New to CrossFit? Start with Onboarding.

If you have never done CrossFit before, we offer a personalized onboarding program designed just for you.

Our onboarding sessions help you learn proper technique, understand movements, and become familiar with how classes work—all in a comfortable, supportive environment.

This is a great way to ease into CrossFit without feeling intimidated.

You’ll work one-on-one with a coach for three sessions, giving you the confidence and foundation to step into classes feeling prepared and supported.

  • No. At Bear Canyon CrossFit, you are only expected to show up and do your best. Every workout is scaled, which means we adjust movements, weights, and volume to fit you.

  • Scaled means the workout is modified for your fitness level and ability. That could mean lighter weight, fewer reps, different movements, or a shorter version of the workout. You still get a great workout that is right for you.

  • Not at all. CrossFit is for all ages. We work with people at many different stages of fitness and life. Our coaching team helps each person move safely and confidently.

  • We can usually work around many limitations by modifying movements. Our coaches help you find safe options so you can still get a great workout while respecting your body.

  • No. You do not need any experience. We teach movement, technique, and form. Our job is to help you learn in a safe and supportive environment.

  • Your first visit is about getting comfortable, meeting our team, and learning more about how we coach. We want you to feel welcomed, not overwhelmed. We will walk you through what to expect and answer all your questions.

  • No. CrossFit is for anyone who wants to improve their health, strength, and confidence. Some people want to compete, but many just want to feel better, move better, and be part of a great community.

  • That is okay. Most people cannot do everything when they begin. We meet you where you are and help you build strength and confidence over time.

  • No. We work hard to create a welcoming community at Bear Canyon CrossFit. Everyone starts somewhere, and we want new people to feel encouraged and included.

  • Most classes are about one hour. That includes instruction, warm-up, workout, and coaching.

  • Wear comfortable workout clothes, bring water, and come ready to learn. We will help with the rest.

  • A great place to start is 2 to 3 days per week. That gives your body time to adjust while helping you build consistency.

  • At Bear Canyon CrossFit, we care about more than just workouts. We care about coaching, community, support, and helping people become stronger inside and out. You do not have to do this alone.
